Expanding their single floor space into three interconnected floors, the client required continuity and the ability to function as a seamless whole.  Programmatically, however, each floor had to function autonomously, with a variety of public and private spaces–eat-in pantry, conference rooms, and library/gathering spaces.  It was imperative to provide a hospitable environment without sacrificing density or functionality.
